New GSA Catalog Platform

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has launched a new Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) Catalog Platform. This platform is a significant improvement for vendors using GSA Advantage, the central purchasing website of GSA. It streamlines the process for Multiple Award Schedule contractors to upload, manage, and access their catalogs, reducing time and effort. The platform replaces the old Schedule Input Program, integrates with GSA's eMod contract modification tool, and offers features like automated data validation, a central hub for catalog actions, and a shared user interface. The full transition for contractors is expected within the fiscal year, enhancing efficiency in federal procurement and market competitiveness.
